ACOUSTIC TRUTH U.S.

Diana Meltzer, also known as the “Woman with the Golden Ears” has played a pivotal role in discovering and developing musicians throughout the world. Diana is most known for her ear in finding some of the industry’s most successful bands, including, Evanesence, Creed, Seether, and Drowning Pool. To date, Diana is still a key influence in the music industry. She has continued her success in finding new and undiscovered talented musicians, including Chicago-based duo, Acoustic Truth. Diana first heard Acoustic Truth over a Facetime conversation where the pair played a handful of their original songs for her until 2:00 am. She instantly gravitated towards their harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, expressing to them that she would do everything in her power to make their dreams come true. Since then Diana has done just that.

She has been working for them pro-bono, introducing and facilitating meetings with key industry contacts and record labels. She has invited them to play at her new club, Freakster’s Roadhouse, located right outside Chicago and has even gone as far as allowing the duo to film a music video in her beautiful estate free of cost. The duo is beyond grateful for everything Diana has done for them and they are even more grateful that they met such a playful and genuine person who truly cares about them. Diana looks out for the duo as if they were her own children, showing them the ins and outs of the music business, offering practical advice, and always reminding them to protect themselves and their music (she has gone as far as flying well-known music lawyers to meet with them and offer them council).

Diana’s belief in the protection of her musicians and her love to develop their talent and confidence stems from her genuine love and passion for music. With hopes of finding Acoustic Truth publishing and label negotiations in 2014, Meltzer has nothing but confidence in her golden ears, knowing that when she hears what she likes, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the music world jumps on board.
